Hi all, and welcome back to rumblewrites. As promised, here is a list of magazines and competitions with deadlines in June.

This is the first in a series of posts relating to writing opportunities, with the aim of simplifying the process for those who want to see their work published. These will be dropping into your inbox on the first of every month for the foreseeable future.

This list may be shorter than those you’ve seen elsewhere. This is because:

1. Long lists are overwhelming, and don’t save you time searching

2. I only include quality magazines. These are journals I read, use, or have checked myself. There’s a good mix in here, but if you think I’ve missed something good, leave me a comment and I’ll check it out
